Proposal Manager

Position requires excellent written and verbal communications skills. Responsible for identifying sales opportunities through publicly-available sources such as the Internet as well as through networking with potential clients. Work with technical staff and senior management to develop proposals that will be primarily targeted at the state and local government markets. Background in public safety mobile radio and/or wireless communications technologies is desirable. Also familiar with the current technical, operational, and funding issues that pertain to interoperable public safety mobile radio voice and data communications systems. Knowledge of PSAP operations and systems is also desirable. Prior experience with state and/or local government procurement processes would be ideal.

Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Corel WordPerfect, Quattro Pro, and Presentations is a plus.

Senior PSMR Communications Engineer

Strong background in Public Safety Mobile Radio (PSMR).  Ability to perform needs assessments, user surveys, coverage analyses, interference analyses, channel planning, tradeoff analyses, system designs, and generate RFPs.  Experience with the state and/or local government procurement process including vendor prebid conferences, vendor site visits, development of proposal evaluation criteria and methodologies, proposal evaluations, vendor best and final presentations, and contract negotiations.

Detailed knowledge of analog and digital radios, conventional and trunked radios, operation in the VHF, UHF, 150MHz, 700MHz, and 800MHz frequency bands.  Working knowledge of PSAPs and dispatching centers would be a plus including consoles, CAD, AVL, GIS mapping, 911, and E911 systems.

Senior Voice Communications Consultant with VoIP Experience

Communication consultant with strong knowledge in voice over IP (VoIP) technologies and systems.  A minimum of ten years experience in telephony systems including key systems, PBXs, and central office based services.  Detailed understanding of the issues surrounding VoIP implementations including routers, LANs, WANs, cabling, security, powering of instruments, network QoS, impacts on E911, and systems compatibility.  Ability to perform needs assessments, user surveys, system designs, and generate RFPs.

Senior Network Security Consultant

Ability to plan and conduct network vulnerability assessments, including penetration attempts using a wide range of available tools, policy/procedure reviews, physical security reviews, war dialing, and social engineering.  Conduct gap analysis and develop recommendations to resolve issues.  Develop overall information and network security roadmap and architecture.  CISSP or equivalent certification required plus a minimum of three years experience in conducting network security reviews and vulnerability analyses on networks with more than 500 network elements.  Familiarity and experience with ISO 17799 highly desirable.
