PSMR Communications Engineer

Strong background in public safety mobile radio (PSMR).  A minimum of ten years experience.  Ability to perform needs assessments, user surveys, site surveys, coverage analyses, interference analyses, channel planning, tradeoff analyses, system designs, and generate RFPs.  Experience with the state and/or local government procurement processes including vendor prebid conferences, vendor site visits, development of proposal evaluation criteria and methodologies, proposal evaluations, vendor best and final presentations, and contract negotiations.

Detailed knowledge of analog and digital radios, conventional and trunked radios, operation in the VHF, UHF, 150MHz, 700MHz, and 800MHz frequency bands.  Working knowledge of PSAPs and dispatching centers would be a plus including consoles, CAD, AVL, GIS mapping, 911, and E911 systems.

LMR Communications Engineer

Expert in utility and transportation systems land mobile radio systems.  A minimum of ten years experience.  Ability to perform needs assessments, user surveys, coverage analyses, interference analyses, channel planning, tradeoff analyses, system designs, and generate RFPs.  Experience with utility and transportation company procurement process including vendor prebid conferences, vendor site visits, development of proposal evaluation criteria and methodologies, proposal evaluations, vendor best and final presentations, and contract negotiations.

Microwave Backbone Network Engineer

Background in microwave communications systems with emphasis on land mobile radio system backbones.  Minimum of 15 years experience in route design, link performance analyses, and frequency planning.  Strong knowledge of IP/Ethernet transport systems as well as synchronous and plesiochronous digital hierarchies.   Ability to perform site surveys, tradeoff analyses, and system designs, as well as generate technical specifications.  

Network Communications Consultant

Communication consultant with strong knowledge in voice and data systems.  A minimum of ten years experience in telephony systems including key systems, PBXs, voice over IP (VoIP) technologies, and central office based services.  Detailed understanding of the issues surrounding VoIP implementations including routers, LANs, WANs, cabling, security, powering of instruments, network QoS, impacts on E911, and systems compatibility.  Ability to perform needs assessments, user surveys, system designs, and generate RFPs.

Program Administrator

Support President and Senior Vice President in preparing, tracking, and verifying labor charges, client invoices, and subcontractor expense reports for large projects.  Prepare weekly labor utilization summaries and project reports. Analyzes labor utilization for accuracy in time coding, correct any errors, and work with Accounting to reflect updates to corporate financial systems.  Provide weekly updates to schedule of invoicing and project deliverables.  Perform special analyses as requested by senior leadership.  Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
